Christmas

So we had a pretty good Christamas this year. On Christmas eve we had dinner over at my parents house which turned out to be pizza instead of ham, since we couldn't get the ham to cook when there was no power. But we all love pizza and the kids loved it. Every year my dad reads the nativity scene(see pic above) This year he told us the reason santa probably wouldn't make it on christmas eve since none of us were going to be there christmas morning. He said that at the global warming convention they decided that reindeer emit more than cows and santa could no longer use them, then he showed us a picture of santa on a four wheeler decked out like a sleigh with what was suppose to be reindeer heads but were just deer heads. This was suppose to be santa's mode of transportation thus making it so he in no way could reach everyone since getting on the roof could be a problem!!

The boys got light sabers and t.j. was a little sad that they were not real since that is what he asked santa for. I have tried explaining that there are no real light saber's but he doesn't believe me since he has seen them on t.v.

Pearson thought that christmas was great!!! He loved getting things that he could shove in his mouth that i didn't instantly take away from him!!! He didn't however like me to take the wrapping paper away so it was sort of a trick getting him to take the toy over the paper. I'm still not sure why we wrap the gifts for babies they don't even know the difference!

So we had story time a little more frequently with the kids home from school. It seems like i can get more done with them home sometimes than having to get them ready to go and trying to accomplish everything while they are at school. It also helps that i'm not constantly running to the studio.

Creedance's new favorite obsession is Pearson. She thinks she has to be holding or touching him at all moments. Which for a while Pearson can tolerate but if she gets to pushy he will scratch her or pull her hair. O.k. so he does this if he can reach her all the time it is kind of a baby reflex, but he will scream if she becomes overwhelming so that i come and get him.
Overall our break has been great!!! Tyler is finishing up Toph's room in the basement. I had to find something to keep him busy but not put to much pressure on his foot and this seemed to fit the bill. The kids are fairly happy and i'm staying busy.

Our Christmas Tree

We went up to my parents cabin to cut us a Christmas tree last Friday and Saturday. I had to stay behind to clean and take care of Pearson but managed to get all the kids into their snow clothes. Tyler decided once they were outside that he couldn't carry T.j. all the way up the mountain to get the tree so he left him by the cabin playing. I didn't know this though so we T.j. started crying i couldn't hear him but Tyler did. So he ran back down the mountain to bring him into me then had to go back up to get the tree and the other kids. Well in the process of going up and down he managed to find out that there is still another piece of glass in his foot. Two years ago he managed to put a rather large piece of glass in his foot, they thought they had got it all and sewed him up. Two weeks later he went back in with problems and they found another piece, we are all quite suprised that there is still another piece and that he has been walking on it for two years without noticing. Anyway we did get our tree and had fun decorating it. The kids love to hang ornaments and Tyler loves wrapping it with a ton of lights. It always turns out beautiful.

We had a wonderful thanksgiving and all the kids loved spending time with both families. We had Dinner with Tyler's family on thanksgiving and had a great time. My family goes out for thanksgiving dinner and we really didn't want to attempt that with our Four kids. The next day my mom made a wonderful turkey dinner and we got to spend some time with my brother and sister that live in Utah. So overall things have been very fun!!!
