The ear infection from ....

We are having the hardest time getting rid of Pearsons ear infection!!! He is now on his third type of antibiotics, for the second time. I had taken him in last week and they decided the second antibiotic had not done any thing. So we started him on another kind that you take for five days and it works for ten. When i took him back in today they said his ear was starting to look better but to stay on the safe side we will be doing another five days of it!!!! I'm starting to get rather sick of giving him medicine constantly. I constantly have to give him ibprofen and tylenol so that he isn't in pain on top of the antibiotics that we are giving him, with my luck if we get rid of the ear infection he will decide to start teething the day after!!!!!!!

Tyler's Birthday!!

Yesterday Tyler turned 31!!! We had a really good day. He suprised me by taking the day off of work, which is actually a gift for me not him but it was really nice. He decided that it had been way to long since we had been to the temple, so he got his mom to watch the kids and we got in a nice temple session. Afterward we went to lunch and then came back home.

Tyler wanted headlights for his bus this year for his birthday! So my big gift to him was to give him time to put them in. Our life is always so busy that he doesn't get around to doing most of the projects he really wants to do, and the fact that his project list his very, very long and is never cheap!!!!!!!!

The kids enjoyed wrapping up various things and giving them to him. Or they just drew him pictures, it is quite fun to watch them give him things like old books and pages that say, "I love you, Dad!" Tyler likes cake but perfers brownies so i made those instead. I put icing and melt crumbled Twix bars on them for his birthday! The kids think it is funny and kept asking why i wasn't making a cake. I kept telling them that Dad doesn't really like cake for his birthday, and they kept telling me that they had seen him eat cake and it sure seemed like he likes it!!

Me, Creedance, and Pearson headed over to Cree's performance after dinner, giving Tyler more time to work on his bus with his boys. Cree did a very good job performing and looks so cute in her costume, which i forgot to take a picture of! oh well i'll get a picture at the next performance!!!!

Cree's Birthday

Cree and her new bike

I didn't write much about Cree's birthday up at the cabin because Pearson was sick when we got home and we got quite wrapped up in all of that. Creedance got a brand new bike for her birthday this year. The one she has was getting way to small for her because she is getting so Tall soooo quickly. She has grown and grown this past year.
She was so excited to spend her birthday up at her grandparents cabin and talked about it for the whole week before. We took her presents up there and we decorated, we also had cake and ice cream. She had a great time.

She loved opening her presents

OH what a week!!!

This past week has been fun but a little crazy. Monday and Tuesday are always a little crazy because of dance. Cree and T.j. dance on monday night, then i teach Tuesday during the day. Then Cree dances again on Tuesday night and afterwards we like to go out with our dance friends while Tyler is at scouts. This past Tuesday we also had to get the older two kids to my mom's house so that we could leave early Wednesday morning for Utah. (oh yeah tyler also worked in Jackson on Tuesday which is a long day thing and was exhausted after he got home from scouts.)

Me and Tyler were up Wednesday morning at 5. We got ready and then put the younger boys in the van with us. Pearosn slept pretty good for a while but T.J. was to excited and kept asking us why we were leaving in the middle of the night and not waiting till the morning.(it was still dark outside, so he was convinced it was night time!!). Traveling was alright but we forgot the dvd player and T.J. was mad and near the end Pearson just wanted out of his carseat but if we stopped we would have been late for T.J.'s appointment at Shriner's.

This is T.J.'s favorite person at Shriner's we just call him Eric! He makes the prosthetics for us!

Here are the boys playing on a toy upstairs at shriner's

Things went well at T.J.'s appt. he got a new foot that is the right size his old one was two sizes to small!!! Was causing a lot of problems with the way he walked and it was getting hard to keep some of his shoes on the old one!

T.J. fooling around

Me trying to keep Pearson happy at Shriner's

We stopped at a couple of places on the way home. We got T.J. and Creedance new bicycling helmets and Topher some more clothes that fit. Then we were headed back home! T.J. and Pearson slept most of the way home, which was really nice. By the time we got back home though me and Tyler were both exhasuted. We picked up the older two from my parents and came home. Everyone else was grumpy too, and it didn't turn out to be a good evening!

Everyone got sleep that night and we mostly felt better but we just aren't running quite right yet. Some friends came over games last night though and we had a pretty good time. But were ready to crash again by the time they left.

Swimming

Decided since Tyler was going to busy doing scouting things on Saturday that me and kids could hang out with my good friend Jess and her kids. We wanted to get together for lunch and then go bowling. We are really bad at planning things and were excited that we had set plans.
We met up and had a great lunch but when we got to the bowling alley they told us there wouldn't be any open lanes until later that night. The kids were sad but we couldn't help it!! Like i said we aren't good at making plans so it took us a while to decide to go swimming.
We headed up to Green Canyon, which is one of my favorite places to go swimming even if it isn't as nice as some people would like it! I have never taken all four kids somewhere like this without tyler though. It got a little crazy but we all survived the older kids would have swam all night if we had let them. Pearson thought the water was great and splashed and splashed. He got hungry a little after an hour and all i have to say is it is hard to feed him and keep up with all the other kids. We all made it out though and were so glad to get to do something fun!!!!!!!
