Our (long) Weekend!!!

We had alot go on, on Saturday but nothing compared to the rest of our weekend. We had Church on Sunday, and then a scout meeting right after. Then we finished loading up and headed to Salt Lake!! T.J. had an appointment at Shriner's Monday morning and since the kids didn't have school we figured we could take a little family trip! It wasn't to bad of a drive down other than the fact that Pearson had a really hard time sleeping and he was beyond exhausted. Once we got there we found a hotel. Let the kids get some wiggles out and then decided to walk around temple square for awhile. The kids love the visitor centers, but they run from thing to thing and me and Tyler would have loved to look at the replica of the temple longer. We would actually love to go inside and check out everything in person but we are never there with just the two of us we always have atleast t.j. with us. Monday morning we went swimming for a little while, and then Tyler ran some errands for work while i got everybody ready for the day and all of our stuff packed up. When he got back we all went up to Shriner's. T.j. loves "his Eric" , a.k.a. as the guy who makes and fixes his prosthetic. It didn't take long to determine that T.j. had completley worn out the leg and that it was to small. Thus we would need a new one. This always works out differnetly once we know we are getting a new one. This time they gave us the option of coming back in a week or so, or staying over night and he would get us the new one by the next day. It was kind of hard to decide since the kids had school the next day, Tyler had work, and i was suppose to teach dance. But in the end it made more sense to stay. I would have to drive back down next week and start messing up the schedule for then. Anyway since we were staying we decided to drive to Spanish Fork and visit Nate, Kim, Boston, Rachel, and Sean. That is after playing upstairs at Shriner's and outside on the toys there. By the way Pearson went down a slide and was dripping wet by the time we left!!!All of us at dinnerThe Kids just Looooove Aunt Rachel!Me Trying to keep Pearson from terrorizing the whole restaurant!!!!!

Rachel and Sean were ssooooooo very nice and let us spend the night at their place Monday night. I just want to tell her thanks like a million times. The kids Loved the House. It had all sorts of cool toys, and even little tiny doors that went from one room into the next, perfect size for them to crawl thru. T.j. loved the fact that he got to sleep in his own room. He has always had to share since he has been born!!!

The next morning Rachel offered to feed us but i knew she had to be to work and so did Sean so we packed up the kids and went to McDonald's! They had a great time there!

Then we were headed back to Salt Lake to wait from the call from Shriner's to come get T.j.'s new foot! First off we stopped to go on a tour of the confrence center. The kids love to hold Pearson's hand when he is walking! I'm not sure he likes it though!!They even let us go up on the roof. Tyler had fun telling the kids all about when he proposed to me ten years ago up there. I can't believe we haven't been able to go out on the roof again since then. It was really nice!!We also went to the church art mueseum, but all the pictures of that ended up on Tyler's camera. After we were headed back to Shriner's of course all of the pictures of T.j.'s new foot aren't on my camera either. The trip home was long, with fun parts and way to much screaming.

It was nice to send the kids off to school this morning, but Toph is already home 'sick'. Oh the life of a mom!!
