Shriners, The Cabin, and Easter!!!!

Last week was spring break for the kids, and T.J.'s foot started hurting him right after we got the bigger foot three weeks ago. So we decided we would try to take the whole family down to Salt Lake to get T.J. a new foot. We started this all out on Wednesday morning after the kids played hard with their cousins on Monday and Tuesday. We left town before nine and barely made it to Shriners in time for T.J.'s appointment(Pearson picked this trip to tell us how much he hates the car, and not everybody could go to the bathroom at the same time!!!). The kids laughed and played in the play land at Shriners and thought it was really cool that there was an Alvin and the chipmunks life sized Chipmunks there!
We then drove down to Provo to our hotel room we got there. We then headed down to Spanish fork so that we could go out to dinner with my sister Rachel, My brother Nathan and his family. We had a really good time, the kids love their relatives. After dinner Nate, Rachel, and Boston came to the hotel and went swimming with us. It was a lot of fun!!!!!!

We asked for fun ideas for things to do in the Salt Lake area since little kids don't really like to go shopping like i do!!! But alas it snowed the night we were there and our options got a whole lot smaller! After the T.J.'s first appointment first appt. in the morning we headed to the aquairum which was a lot of fun! We then went to another appt., stopped at one mall for me on the way home. And ended up not getting home until 10 that night!! What a long day!!!!

Friday we got unpacked and then packed again to head up to my parents cabin for the weekend! (I can't believe how much laundry i had to do when we got done with the weekend!!!) The kids were very excited! They love going to the cabin and having Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Dave around the whole time. It was my dad's birthday on Friday so when we got there mom had dinner and cheesecake ready. Yumm!!! I love cheesecake!!!

Saturday the kids played in the snow and decorated eggs, the men went snowmobiling, all in between confrence sessions. Then we drove into West Yellowstone so the men could go to the Priesthood session and Mom, me, and the kids went to the hotel with the swimming pool and "Swirly Slide". The kids wore me and mom out pretty quickly and we couldn't wait for the men to get back and let them play with them. When it was time to head back it was snowing really hard and you couldn't see very far in front of the car. We made it back safely, though our van didn't make it up to the actual driveway of the cabin!!!!!

Easter morning was great!! The kids found all the eggs they had decorated the day before. They each found their baskets. I also got the boys new black suits, and Cree got a new black and yellow dress. I can't wait to take pic's of them in there new outfits!!! I can't believe we didn't get any pictures' up there!

Oh Yeah quite funny that the kids got their first snow day yesterday. Everybody thinks it is quite funny how much it snowed in April in one night!!!!

Sounds like a very fun and busy week! We got to drive to Burley on Friday in a lovely whiteout snowstorm so I totally sympathize with you guys!
